It’s true- we’re changing the planet in many ways, most of them not for the good. People talk about geo-engineering as a means to respond to climate change- Wired provides a list of ways in which we are already geo-engineering the planet. I remember reading that the world’s dams had measurably impacted the earth’s magnetic field through the build up of silt behind the ubiquitous structures- Wired’s list is on a similar scale.
